Teaching Philosophy:
As an educator with over a dozen years of teaching experience in formal and informal learning spaces, I seek to create classroom environments that prioritize engaged civic learning and the democratization of knowledge. I work with students to grapple with critical and rigorous scholarship that we apply to collaborations with and observations of our broader academic and lived communities. Leading with the philosophy that all students enter the classroom with expertise, I aim to facilitate learning opportunities that honor the lived experiences of all students while also prioritizing justice-oriented pedagogy.
